Mark founded Southwestern® Investment Group “SW Group” (Later he would change the name to "Southwestern Property Corp"), for the purpose of acquiring, developing, leasing and managing shopping centers and other real estate projects.

Southwestern® Property Corp. sells its first single family deal, located on 136th Street and Colorado avenue, in Thornton, Co. It consisted of 140 acres of raw land that was entitled and platted for residential and commercial uses.

By this time, with the decline of the Retail, SWPC looked to new opportunities and entered the Self-Storage market. The project included the construction of 83,000 sqft of self-storage located in Littleton, CO.

SWPC complete is first deal using a HUD 224 Loan. It was the development of 230 apartment units in Colorado Springs in Colorado.

Mark founded "Pamlico"(with other partners), a self-storage developer that would co-develop projects with SWPC. They would end up owning and developing 8 projects.

SWPC decides to venture into different businesses and in August 2015 acquires "The Country Club at Woodmoor". Golf, swimming and tennis club located in Monument, Colorado.

• Made his first deal beyond the continental US. Acquiring two apartments deal in Kona, HI.

SWPC closed is biggest deal to date. An apartment development of 180 units in Commerce city, Colorado, for a total value of $ 48 mm.
